Is it even feasible to expect gwent to ever return to a state where every point counts, and a 4 for 4 is seen as a perfectly decent play to make?

Or will that kill the HYPE!! Momentum gwent devs have been pushing with every new expansion and stupid strong cards?

I mean, it’s either you keep pushing this shit till your game dies from no more users wanting to play solitaire hyperslam

you take a risk, and REWORK THE ENTIRE GAME BALANCE FROM THE GROUND UP

and actually have a tangible chance of injecting life back into gwent and making it an alluring, exciting, strategic, diverse strategy card game it always intended to be, before it got swept away into solitaire expansion hype.

So it’s either your game dies, guaranteed, if you don’t stop what you’re doing and reverse this, or your game MAYBE DOESNT die cos actually reverting the entire game to lower points could be the thing you needed to save it.

This bullshit with 5,10,15 passive points per turn

Pointslams of 30+ points or more

This needs to stop. You are literally destroying your own future as a game if you continue down this path.

I wanna see Philippa blind fury be the absolute peak of pointslam.

CAN I PLEASE REMIND EVERYONE, THE GAME POINT TRENDS WERE ALREADY SEVERELY NERFED SINCE BETA, where each game was hundreds and hundreds of points of broken card combos.

Devs have re designed the whole game from the ground up once before, they can do it again.
