4Game

As the title says. For context, I've been ancient 1 since last year. Don't care about getting any further up the ladder, just wanted to reach ancient and be done with ranked. In the past, i'm gunna say, 2-3 months, I've noticed a massive change that has made the game almost unbearbale to play, at least for me personally. 8/10 games, I'm playing with and against high divine and immortal players. With this, it feels like every game is an absolute sweatfest palooza. by 11 minutes, the enemy team or my team, charge down mid as 5, and that includes the pos 1. I just wanna be able to chill and have a fun game, but it's as if I can't because of this high ranking nonsense. I'm not even that good, so why in the fuck am I being paired with people way above my level.

In addition, I've also noticed another trend going on. I feel like it's the system they used for the recent call of duty's, where if you have a solid game, the next game you just get paired with people who are acting like bots, where the other team is 5 man partied, and coordinating well. I feel like there is zero consistency with games, and it's just win, loss, win, loss, a constant cycle.

Last but not least, the toxicity of this game has gotten so much fucking worse. I've always known dota to have a toxic ass community, but holy shit, some of these people go above and beyond. I'm not even talking verbal bullshit, I'm talking full on feeding, afking in the jungle, hoarding wards/neutrals, blocking camps, etc, etc. I was playing a game today, as pos 4 rubick, and tried to take a last hit with fade bolt because it was in deny range for the enemy jugg. My pos 3 primal gets so fucking upset he just runs off into the jungle and stays there all game taking all the neutrals because "Rubick fucked my lane"

Edit: Also forgot to mention the influx of bought accounts/smurfs. Dunno if this has been a thing in many people's games, but it has become increasingly obvious that more and more people are smurfing or have bought an account way above their current skill bracket due to obvious misplays.
