A while ago there was a forum made by Frontier developments community manager (around 3 months ago) asking feedback on how to change engineering and so far we've got no news as far as I personally know, this is a bit of a rant discussion cause my god I love this game but no matter how much I try, grinding mats has been killing every bit of joy I have to it, making me wish to uninstall
I've tried every possible farming method as far as I know, Dav's hope, hot Jupiter, HGE, and so on all of them are boring and so RNG heavy, I've spent hours trying to find improvised components and no luck at all, same for pharmaceutical isolators, and no luck except core dynamics composite which I do not need as I'm filled with it and it takes so long and feels like it isn't worth it due to how much time it takes

I love elite dangerous, has to be one of the best games I've ever played but farming mats isn't fun. I don't mind raw mats g4 farming it's calming but still, I believe manufactured is really frustrating for me. I wish for a change as soon as possible, any kind would help.
