I'm having difficulty Finding things to do in this game.

I finally headed out to Beagle Point recently. While out there, I heard about all that was happening with Hyford's Cache, and decided I wanted to get into the whole Thargoid research thing. So I headed back to the bubble, outfitted a krait phantom to handle caustic thargoid stuff, collected some thargoid probes and sensors, and went to activate and scan some thargoid devices to aid in the search for new structures.

Well, turns out the audio files the device gives you are broken, as well as the thargoid link's response audio, so that's a dead end. Oh, and it's been like that for *years*, according to some googleing!

Well, there's more things to do I guess. So then I decided to get back into PVP pirating (proper pirating, not ganking. don't worry.) Problem is, apparently with FDev's attempt at "balancing" mining, it completely broke the whole demand system, and Inara and EDDB are almost useless at finding the "good" sell places. As a result, we can't see where everyone's going. And pirating the community goal isn't really an option, due to the ridiculous number of meta-FDL gankers. My krait mkII isn't really a match for them, so I'm constantly running.

I considered hopping back into the Odyssey content, but it got boring pretty quickly last time I did.

Has anyone else encountered the same "don't know what to do" problem I have?
