Hi all,
Long time player here based in the EU. I've recently taken a different approach to deck building and try to create fun/lore decks and try them out in casual. However, during the past two weeks or so I have encountered pretty obvious botting by almost every opponent. Their deck is usually Nilfgaard with Double Cross, and they never use the leader ability, although I have seen the deck played in both Syndicate and Skellige too.
The deck itself is entirely neutral, they play 3 cards in the first round, and if in hand Eyck of Denesle is the second card. Then in round 2 they will play all 10 cards with Ciri Nova usually being number 7, this number of cards is always played regardless of who won the first round or when I pass, in the final round Saer Qu'an usually appears a turn to late to activate.
Originally I thought this may be some kind of popular or meme deck but after encountering it in almost every single match, played in the exact same, unorganised manner where the opponent will not react to anything I have down it's evident that this is a machine. I guess these players are grinding levels or crown pieces or something? I'm wondering if anybody else has encountered these players or if I have entered some strange Twilight Zone.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
