There's nothing I have splurged on, except maybe the voice attack I'm too afraid to use while wife and child are sleeping. Running this on a xfx rx580 which when I bought was just a good generic card that is the best bang for your buck. The entire setup minus the monitors and headphones hovers around $1,000 and I thought it a decent benchmark for those who are interested. I'm sure I could have done better but I didn't want perfect to be the enemy of good and got what I could at the price I could afford with the aim to just get my feet wet.
Obviously the rx580 needs to be upgraded to something better, and I'm looking for a left-handed / ambidextrous joystick but its incredibly niche.
Um and while you commanders are here, mind telling me why I can't land my hauler on a mining rig? I am a complete noob.
