Hey all, I have a few friends who are beginning their Elite Dangerous journey, and while I'm not the most experienced commander, I wanted to show them a wide array of what the game offers while also letting them build up their own wealth and stock of ships. Let them have that new player experience while making their time be efficiently used (we're all in our 30's, free time to play games is pretty precious). Would appreciate any notes on the activity list I've put together. I personally haven't done much Thargoid stuff, so stuff near the end is based on what I've read from reddit and the wiki.

1) Establish first "home" system (Industrial Boom economy near Matet), perform Data Courier missions, buy 2A FSD along the way

2) At 300k earned, buy Hauler for trucking, move to Boom system nearby (Hackworth Orbital, Ehecatl) (https://s.orbis.zone/jdd3), train manual docking before step 3

3) At 1.7M earned, buy Cobra Mk III, go laser mining (https://s.orbis.zone/jdc_)

4) At 2M earned, convert Cobra Mk III to fighter (https://s.orbis.zone/jdd1)

5) Train combat in anarchy system with Sidewinders (take Haulers up to Arque before heading to Diaguandri to get 1F corrosion resistant cargo racks because of distance)

6) Hunt pirates at nav beacon and Low RES (Ray Gateway, Diaguandri)

7) At 500k earned, retrofit Hauler for Thargoid research (https://s.orbis.zone/jdd2)

8) On route to Merope, train exploration using Road 2 Riches tool

9) Collect Thargoid sensor (around Merope system)

10) Thargoid probe collection (around Merope system)

11) Head to Maia B (visit black hole)

12) Visit Delphi 5 A thargoid structure, use collected materials to see the light show, harvest meta alloys

13) Take harvested meta alloys to Felicity Farseer and unlock engineering, exploration data between Delphi and Deciat to fund investment into new ships and more advanced activities
