I can't be the only one who feels that the recent flea market update does not really solve anything and is probably going to make things worse.
The update made no real improvement to honest players and only made it easier for botters/scripters
Now you're rarely going to get a good price on items due to how easily items can be sniped.
Price inflation is going to occur due to purchasing trends moving upward as people get tired hitting refresh & fighting bots for low priced items. At least you had a fighting chance with the timer.
Those supporting the change who complained about not getting good deals prior to it are still in the same spot. Bots will snipe lowest-priced items before you even hit refresh. You will still end up paying average or maybe even more for items.
Monopolies are more likely to exist now. Botters can easily create artificial monopolies by buying out all low priced items and relisting them however high they want. With the timer, you had an easier time figuring out what value goods were going for.
Good luck if you misprice your items. Forgot to add that extra 0? That thing is going to get insta-sold. No more timer to help you cancel it before its sold.
I don't even understand some of the complaints people had who are praising this update.
Do people really not know how or are that lazy to sync their system clocks?
I changed my system time server to time.nist.gov and haven't had a problem with the flea market since. It took me no more than 30 seconds and I have been out buying bots by spamming left click and Y.
