I heard about world modifiers being added and i finally decided to come back for another spin after playing a bunch in early access so like July 2021. Its now almost 2024 and it still feels the same and I'm disappointed. Combat/Animations still feel clunky and overall unfulfilling, no new variants of structures really, just all around small things that i thought would be fixed/added by now. Not following updates and stuff I'm going to guess they're still a small team and haven't hired anyone extra? Despite the insane buzz and success it got? Like I can think of a bunch of stuff that is small but could be huge gameplay wise. Floors, walls, and roofs that are made out of birch or core wood, maybe some more farmable foods like squash, corn or wheat. A bigger cart! Love the idea of it but it feels limited, maybe a carriage that can be hauled by a mount. Maybe some way to make it so wood wont turn green from being outside? There's just so many mechanics and ideas that feel like they have so much potential but it feels a bit empty across the board. And I don't wanna hear about mods, i realize i can and might have to do that, but that's not what this is about.
