Concerns Regarding a Realistic Weight System

I'm concerned that a realistic weight system in which we drastically move slower when loaded up will only further promote pistol runs, half kits, and generally less engaging game play.

If players start becoming slower to the point that they're much easier to kill, won't everyone just start doing quick loot and scoot style raids to avoid becoming overburdened?

I love the realistic approach of a lot of elements of this game, but how this new system may be implemented could be an issue. I don't know if there's already information out there about how the new weight system overhaul will work, but I figured it worth posting this as a discussion thread.

Does anyone else think this could be a concern, or am I just being paranoid?

I think the game is currently a good balance of rats and Chad's, and I'd hate to see everyone go rat because being a Chad gets nerfed by drastic movement speed penalties.

Anywho, feel free to discuss.
