Hi there, I'm relatively new to the Elite community. I love this game. After doing a bunch of research, I decided that nothing would beat a HOSAS for me, so I tried out a pair of T16000s for a few weeks before I ultimately decided to return them. I still love HOSAS, I just didn't really like those sticks very much. The biggest issue I faced, however, was fatigue. I have some issues with my joints, particularly my shoulders, and using the two T16000s for more than an hour or two was enough to really put some soreness into my shoulders. Sometimes to the point that I didn't feel like I physically had it in me to put in another session the next day.
That brings me to the point of my discussion post. I'm looking for suggestions for a more ergonomic, but similarly precise control solution. I have tried using mouse controls and it didn't grow on me. I really like the look of VKB's NXT Gladiator, and would probably try changing the springs in them if I were to order a pair. But I wanted to consider other possibilities before making an investment. I've also considered maybe combining a gamepad with a button panel or something, but my highest priority besides comfort is 6 analog DOF. Any chronic pain CMDRs got some creative solutions? (Especially anything that uses less shoulder muscle to stabilize the controller)
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
