Really considering going with AMD this time around, as I currently have an i7 4790K and everything I've been looking at says my RTX 2070 (non super) is being bottlenecked by at around 20%.
I've seen good things about the AMD 3600 but haven't found much on recent performance since the 0.12 patch. Before I read people had problems with 1080p, but may be related to their GPU specifically.
Is anyone running a 3600 with a 2070 on 1440p? Does anyone think going with Intel's 9700k would be a better option?
On this website https://pc-builds.com/calculator/
it shows a negligable bottleneck for a 9700k and 2070, but an 8% bottleneck for a 3600 and 2070, and interestingly a 6.77% bottleneck for the 9900k and a 2070 (maybe thats the GPU being bottlenecked).
Does anyone have any insights on whether Hyper-Threading is necessary for Tarkov or for 1440p in general? Thanks!
