I just need to vent, sorry about it, but today I ended up in one of those nonsense loop that really puts out the will to play this game.

First step, I took too many recovery missions (put the power regulator) in a post-thargoid recovery system. Found myself at the end of the session with 2 left and decided to abandon them.
Bad mistake.
Minor factions gave me fines I couldn't pay at the port (due to this illogical C&P system).

Second step, I go to a settlement to restore power, get attacked and killed by people there.
"No worries", I thought, I was in a peaceful mission.
Of course not. i got to detention as it seems I was considered the worst outlaw since I gave up on 2 missions during the earlier session and didn't pay the fines.

Third step, need to go back to the original system (a lot of jumps of course since I was not using my explo ship for recovery missions but a defensive one with little jump range).

Fourth step, decided to finally pay these fines that were seen as a capital sin, went to a system with interstellar factors, they are not recognized so I can't pay them, although they still show up in my panel.

Another day in this messy C&P system, sometimes I hope they are gonna "waste" the April update just to fix/remove entirely this nonsense mechanic.
