There's a lot of enemies I can't stand in this game, but the deathsquito tops the list. I literally cannot express my hate for these things enough. The only reason I am afraid of dying in the plains is because of those stupidly powerful bugs, which you *physically can not outrun* and kill you in one hit when you run back to your grave without armor. Once a single one spots you, there's very little you can actually do, besides hoping another enemy followed you from a different biome, which lets itself get killed for you, so you can get out of its aggro range(By the way, why don't these things attack loxes or fulings? Why do they have an alliance with each other?). And even if you somehow manage to dodge their first attack, they will just keep flying around you no matter how far you run, until they decide to attack again. Sorry man, gotta run all that distance again. Hope you like wasting food, time, powers and patience.
It's just… Urgh. The plains would've been very difficult, but alright if it weren't for those abominable things. I'd gladly welcome the day they get removed from the game and an alternative for needle arrows is added.
Sorry about this rant, but I needed some way of venting after being intercepted on my 3rd run back to my grave in a row, by these heat-seeking missiles of enemies.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
