… I really love it. It's one of the first things that made a profound impression on me when I first launched Tarkov a couple of months ago. Since then I've amounted almost 700 hours in my starting wipe and I still love the sound design in it.
Things like the sounds of the guns, reloading them, shooting them (especially silenced), and even steps (particularly on glass, give me more of that sexy crunch) sound amazing to me. I enjoy producing music in my spare time and love good sound design and this game is one of the few where I just loved it from the get-go. I feel like the voice acting is also quite catchy and works very well, even though scavs could use a some new lines in the future.
There is no denying whatsoever about the issues with audio, such as directionality, range, or bugs of popping audio and missing audio, and volume balancing, which I hope get fixed soon, but despite of that I wanted to give KUDOS to the developers and sound designers for their work on sound in the game. And everything else, but I wanted to specifically mention sound in this thread.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
