I think I am in minority when I say I really like the idea of Arenas. Quick pvp match with probably not very "high" stakes compared to raids. But I would love to bring my own gear if the devs implement something like that. As to why I like arena mode is because it brings more balanced pvp experience compared to raids pvp. I am more of classical fps player, came from games such as rainbow siege and apex so the idea of getting and losing gear is somewhat new to me, even so i did play my share of looters games such as destiny and division but those are nowhere comparable to eft. Only been playing eft for 400 hrs now and I really love it, but the only thing I never really got into was pvp. Combination of me being solo player, gear fear, unfairness of pvp environment and that my pc can only run at 40fps in this game really hurts. (I know this is what makes tarkov tarkov but because of that I have embraced rat life). At least in Arenas mode, if I lose gear I know I died in fair fight with my team versus enemy team and not free for all fight.
