In large part a rant post lol. I let a couple of my coworkers into my first world to play around with. One of them was great to play with…just wanted to sit there and build up a town in the valley I had going. The other one went and killed both the dark forest and swamp bosses to “help me out.” At first it was like yeah, okay. I guess. Both times he already had them spawned by the time he said anything, and I didn’t want them running free in my world. However now, the event raids massacre me. I’m midway through the Bronze Age (most weapons, no armour) and I can barely make a dent before I’m stuck in a corpse run loop

I tried starting a new world and running console commands to at least get back all the progression achievements I’d made. But apparently creative mode unlocks everything on that character, and now it feels like I have to completely restart the entire game with the limited resources that survived the merciless raids.

For reference, I am the type of “horrid at combat, just wants to sit there and farm and build all day” player that struggled to down Eikthyr lmao. There is no returning from the raw level difference all this triggered

Lesson learned. Don’t let others do anything but mess around. And definitely don’t use commands on a character you want genuine gameplay progression with 🤣
