I thought I'd take a break from the thargoid engineering grind, and carpal-tunnel inducing powerplay deliveries (click click, yes 10 more pls, click click click), by stomping pirates in my corvette. Revisit my old Imperial rank grind port in Segoveduwa, stack some pirate assassination/massacre missions put stuff in my hold so I'll pull aggro on any threat 4 signals instead of them wandering off while I murder their comrades, head over to faust 68, promptly get interdicted, so far so good. Security comes quickly and jumped into my line of fire from offscreen while fighting… was pretty sure I was locked on to my target but promptly received a bounty for the incompetent AI flying. Ok, I remember they made a trash decision about lawyers in Odyssey so logged off, hopped onto eddb to find a lawyer since search in this game is trash, hopped onto horizons since they hadn't trashed lawyers in that mode, and headed to a system nearby. I was immediately suspicious because all of the new odyssey ports were now visible in horizons, along with the UI being the same. Lo and behold, the lawyer didn't acknowledge the bounty from the next system over. Is there a convenient way for me to now find a lawyer in a system where bounty issuing faction doesn't have a presence, or should I just go to fking colonia to get a fking 400 bounty cleared. This game has so much potential, barring numerous ridiculous gameplay mechanic decisions.
Edit: Inara has a convenient list of minor factions that you can check when you click on the system within the search list of systems with interstellar factors… one more annoying step to add. Of course within the game you have to be in the system to search for this information.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
