Is it just my imagination, or do enemies flee a whole lot more since one of the recent (last ~3 months) patches?
It's exceedingly frustrating. Greylings in my base used to chase me around, and now I'm stuck chasing them all over the place just to get them out of the way. This is before we even engage in combat. Fighting enemies is far worse. I'm trying to kill something, and it's fleeing faster than I can keep up. I just tried to fight a lox, and it ran so far away I couldn't see it, came back for one hit, ran a million miles away again.
I'm fairly sure part of the reason things are fleeing in combat is DoT effects like poison and fire, but there's more to it than that; sometimes they run off from the slightest amount of pure non-DoT damage. I don't recall that happening before.
Pathing sometimes explains it, but this happens to me even in obstruction-free, level areas.
Feels like it got a whole lot worse within the past couple months.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
