We all know at this point how under-informed majority of the playerbase is. From elements, to heroes, to survivors. The list goes on
Personally I think this is 90% epic games fault (with 10% going to the people in the community that don’t give advice and just say “uSe WhAtEvEr yOu wAnT!”) for not adding a proper tutorial
My suggestion is that Epic adds tutorial missions (similar to Warframe’s mastery test system). These missions would be non-skippable, and they would unlock every time you reach a certain level (so element tutorial when you unlock elemental missions, and so on). Upon completion these tutorials would grant you a medium, one-time, gift box! With survivors, materials, llamas and schematics!
The tutorial missions would basically load you into an empty map with husk spawns. Players would complete objectives and learn how game mechanics work (so being instructed to switch to metal when a fire wave appears). They wouldn’t be long or tough. But they would cover the most important things
This would make it where less players get to twine still not knowing how elements and traps work! Players shouldn’t be forced to “figure it out yourself” 😂
Let me know what you think!
