the tension and unpredictability has made other games feel dull. When I play Warzone (or any BR game) I no longer feel the tension, or the rush. Battle Royale games used to be constant tension of finding items and getting into fights. Now why care? Nothing is actually on the line. If I die I'm right back in a lobby.
When I play MMOs and do PvP in arena or battlegrounds, what's even on the line? The only thing that can happen is I move forward, even if it's a tiny bit. Nothing is at risk.
I used to play all kinds of Stalker mods all the time, but now when I play them I just have this feeling of nothing mattering. I can load a save and nothing is really lost. Even if the mod offers an Ironman mode it's not really the same.
Does anyone else feel this way? Are there any other PvP games that scratch the same kind of itch for you? Or any kind of itch? I feel like Tarkov is the hardest PvP drug available and now nothing else is doing it for me anymore.
