This is my first wipe and I have noticed that Tarkov players are exceptionally sweaty, to the point where they almost start to rival Valorant players.
I just played my first match on factory of this event. I started running, looking around for people. And the first enemy I see is spawn camping me, waiting for me to come to them. Luckily he had crap armor and a shotgun, and I had an RPK 16 (I think?), so I mowed him down. It goes around 30 seconds, no enemies. I try to go into the tunnels, but there is a guy on the stairs down waiting for me. I heard him before, but I thought he ran away. He was using some sort of hollow point with high body damage. So I barely had any time to react.
This is an unga bunga type event, your gear doesn't matter at all, because literally everything is free except the highest tier gear. Why are people STILL camping and playing this like their lives depend on it? Sure, I understand this if you could lose all of your hard earned gear, but now it's all about fun, running and gunning and enjoying the combat for once. But it just seems that the Tarkov community is too sweaty to relax.
This is just boring to me, and it hurts to see that people are trying so hard when we are all just supposed to have fun. Noob players like me could finally breathe out and relax, try out some real combat for once. But nope, the community is just so unadaptable to any kind of change.
Or, what do you think? Do you disagree? I would love to hear what veterans would say about my experience. Is it valid or not?
