It's actually really annoying. It makes KOTL unable to cast illuminate in the last 5 seconds of his ultimate or else when the ulti ends, the ultimate will release before KOTL wants to release it.
I get that KOTL is strong right now but that shouldn't get in the way of design improvements like this. If KOTL casts his illuminate before his ult ends, that cast of illuminate should just channel to the end, and not get cancelled instantly if his ulti ends.
THE WORST PART IS, let's say you're a good KOTL player, you know your ultimate is going to end, so you know you have to channel your illuminate because once ult ends, illuminate has to be channeled. The illuminate STILL RELEASES EARLY even while you stand there channeling.
How does this make sense?
Btw this probably gonna get downvoted because most people are too dumb to distinguish between design and balance and since KOTL is strong right now people will disagree with anything that improves him, even if it's a good design change.
