So as someone taking their first shaky steps into ED it seems I have flown right out the hanger into an alien invasion. From available info it seems not only is humanity getting rather brutalized but the things we have been fighting are classified as interceptors.

…well shit…if these things (that are rather deadly) are indeed just small fast ships I really don't want to know what larger classifications they have. So my question is…what's the fail safe? Do we have any kind of Exodus Project? Some plan in place to ensure that humanity can survive even if it's just loading up a bunch of people and flinging them off into the deep reaches of wild space? Some far off hidden colony or settlement that can serve as a new home if this one gets burned to the ground?
