This is insane! 10 million exploration credits destroyed after I auto-launched out of a normal starport and was attacked and destroyed while still way within the no-fire zone??? I barely even had time to target the perpetrator to identify it. No bounties, no cargo, no scan, no message — just insta-destruction without warning. (This is an exploration ship with zero armaments and stripped-down shields that avoids combat at all times.)
This HAS to be a bug.
ETA: The Incident Reports reason for assault: crime. Which is complete and utter hogwash, I have done nothing illegal, have no bounties or fines on me, was carrying no cargo at all.
Edit2: Thanks for the replies pointing out a newish bug that matches this; seems like one guy had the same thing happen to him, except he had even more data lost. Misery loves company.
