Fleshed out offline mode

Am I the only weird person that would appreciating a nice offline single player mode including level progression? Leveling separate from online mode of course.
Why? I sometimes would like to just play and enjoy Tarkov without q time as a single player pve campaign without cheaters. Especially late in wipe, because at that point people like me who can only play from time to time are facing an extremely unfun and uneven playing field.
Beginning of wipes are very enjoyable and fine, but after 2 weeks or so as a casual player playing against juggernauts is not very enjoyable and I then not play at all until next wipe. Narrow window of opportunity to play such a nice game.

Somebody mentioned devs were afraid it would take people away from online campaign, but as it is now, after a few weeks they lost me as a player until next wipe anyway.

Edit: Apparently there are single player mods. I wasn’t aware. Thanks!

Edit2: Unclear if single player mods are safe/permitted by devs.
