I believe that DOTA2 needs to undergo an effective operational correction to become attractive again to large organizations.The game ecosystem greatly favored players – with high salaries, prize pool, etc. however, it put the teams in the background. Apart from the fact that it is perhaps one of the most difficult games to train as a player, considering that the learning curve is very long. So, we have a small base of players available, which is not renewed as much and still cultivates bad habits for a professional scenario. Obviously there are excesses. Other than that, the game is only viable for the top 10 teams in the rankings, which is very optimistic.
As a fan of the game (I even have a Brewmaster tattoo), I would love to return to DOTA2, but without this broad reform, I don't see much of an angle at the moment.
