I’m no BSG simp – buttttt……

This was the best roll out of an update for BSG to date. Cheaters were bad (but when aren’t they?) and there were some bumps along the way. But let us not forget the dumpster fire wipes we’ve been through up to this point.

This makes me excited. If they roll out Arena 12/XX and then wipe and roll out this next expansion the same way, it could be so fucking solid guys. Lighthouse expansion for example – we had broken servers, 45 min matchmaking, the invisible PMC issue, etc. There always be things and bugs and issues. But overall – I really think this wipe has been the smoothest delivery yet. It makes me excited for the next one hopefully here in December.

I’m excited for the Shoreline expansion as a Shoreline enjoyer. Hopefully this pushes people out of Resort. My guess is – they expand the port side/CCR extract. The port area is already on the map, they just need to open the door, or add a mechanic to open the door. Maybe they add a new extract or and extract mechanic (flip a switch somewhere to open something somewhere else). It’s going to be fucking cool and I can’t be convinced otherwise. The focus is obviously on the new map, and Arena, but I really think this could change how we play the map. For example: look at how the small addition helped Woods. It gave a two new POIs for players to push and fight at (USEC & MED FOB).

I’ve been playing since 2020 and stream as a hobby on Twitch, so by no means an Alpha OG. I picked the game up before the Reserve/D2 expansion and have been enjoying ever since. We all take breaks or check out other games, as it is natural with new titles coming out or just needing a break. This expansions got my full attention! Really cool to see the path BSG laid out, and bricked up to get my hands on the new content!
