After almost 2 years of play and have around 2k games and 2-3k MMR I decided to quite dota.

some people leaving dota because they have no hope to reach higher medals but I don't care about it my mmr is fine and I'm not trying to get immortal or go pro, so…

My main reason is toxicity:

after giving a carry everything in lane, pull , salve, tango, mango and sometimes stack if you loose game carry says trash sup and starts flaming!! if you win it's ok but if you loose everybody are trying to find someone to blame to avoid get flamed themselves :))

let's be honest people don't care about truth, specially in an online game who cares about truth! just find some one to blame even if you know it's not the reason you loosing.

toxicity is a big problem for dota community, I understand dota is complicated and you can get mad sometimes but this doesn't mean you start insulting player's moms 🙂 don't tell me you didn't hear something like this because I can see it in more than 50% of games! maybe in high mmr games it's less because it's wired and people know each other, but in low mmr it's a common thing.

valve should ban this kind of players but they don't why? because they don't care! they want more players, doesn't matter if they are toxic and insulting others.

If I play dota this toxic community affects my life and makes me a worse person. some people may not take this serious but is it possible to get insulted and feel good? obviously no!

another problem I can say is dota environment makes toxic people even more toxic you know, that's right some people learning toxicity more than game concepts 🙂 I know some people personally who became more toxic . you have 2 choice in dota been toxic and answer others with insult or mute people, I tried to mute people but you can't do it all time because some times talk to your team is necessary to take roshan or give information about enemy smock or something like that.

and there is not a real way to manage it, just go and see dota streams, probably streamer is toxic but if he/she is not they suffering from other players toxicity. so don't try to deny it for god sack 🙂

if anyone wants to try this game should be aware of this. think about it for a sec, maybe this game doesn't worth to be around toxic people all time. if you are ok with that that's your choice but mine is different.
