Gwent has a deck matching algorithm

I have made multiple posts about this and have given the community the benefit of the doubt and agreed it’s most likely confirmation bias. However, I’ve been testing this theory and it’s 100% proven to me that it isn’t the case. Believe me or not – this is the last post I’ll make on it.

I tested out some different decks today and like clockwork – I faced a perfect counter deck I had not interacted with yet that ENITRE day.

My findings were – Scoiatel Harmony meant matching with Monster/Frost and Monster/Thrive. Ran a Nilfgard assimilate and faced only NR shuffle/mage decks. My next try was a Syndicate Fireswarm – suddenly Scoiatel Symbiosis (a great counter…) All perfect counter decks. I am done with this community saying this isn’t an actual thing. It so obviously is. Maybe when you reach pro rank this isn’t as obvious but as someone who plays between ranks 5-3 it’s SO fucking blatant to me. Maybe this makes the game feel more lively and competitive? Not sure…but I’ve been playing for three years now and it’s become clear as day there is some sort of algorithm for matchmaking.

I will await my downvotes lol.
