I don't understand how the Gwent mobile client can be so bad. The interface could be much lighter but that's a design choice to replicate the PC sophisticated look, so let's stand with it.
The real issue is network handling. In a nutshell, it is a shame. Loss of connection (which can always happen for a few seconds on a mobile network) too often leads to a game loss, with the client stupidly hanging on, unable to reconnect to the server while the phone has its connection fully restored. Even better now, the client fully disconnects, not even leading to a defeat but just hanging on indefinitely.
Obviously, if the loss of connection lasts for a long time (30 seconds, a minute…) then it's perfectly normal that the server ends the game. But that's not what I'm experiencing. I'm talking about very short data losses.
And to clarify, I run a fully updated Pixel 6, so the hardware performance can not be blamed.
Do you experience similar issues? Wouldn't it be time for Gwent Dev to work on it?
