Title, but I’ll elaborate a bit.
My mother has dementia. I play the game with her to help keep her brain stimulated, and it’s been a hilarious time playing with her. We have nearly 2000 hours in the game, and it’s helped keep her mostly stagnant since her diagnosis a month after the game released.
So with that said, my mother cannot grasp the idea of blocking whatsoever. Her timing is..off. I want to help her, and it would be so much easier to do this in person, but I’m 2600 miles away. If there’s a video, or someone can write a step by step to help me not rip my hair out with this lol, much would be appreciated.
I’m only asking because she wants to progress, but she can’t block to save her life and so she’s basically been stuck in the swamp trying to improve, or she tends to our base, or..she tags along and it’s like i’m doing an escort quest. If anything more than 1 no star grey dwarf attacks my mom, she goes into full fight or flight and just starts blasting. If there’s too many, she runs away and drains her stamina, and then dies somehow lol. Look, I’ve never seen someone in full iron die to grey dwarfs before I played with her, it was funny the first time but now it’s just sad and I know it makes her sad too.
She’s also a recovering hoarder, and is constantly afraid of dying and losing her items.
Please help lol.
