I've put 100 hours into the game. I took a long break because I fell off at the engineering grind but I'm back now and I won't be doing a single bit of engineering aside from the FSD. If I happen to get materials while I play the game, awesome.
Before I stopped playing I bought the anaconda with the intention of kitting it out for exploration, even though I fully upgraded all the core internal modules to the biggest potential A variant option of each. Including the armor which costs more than double the ships original cost. WTF was I thinking lol?
I've spent so much money on this ship and now that I'm actually theory crafting builds for exploration it turn out I don't even need a single one of these modules. It seems like a waste to sell all these modules and lose however much I would on the resale than to just use these modules and change the purpose of the ship.
Please help convince me that there are better uses for the anaconda aside from exploration so I don't feel like I have spent the last 100 hours with the end goal of having an anaconda as my main exploration vessel was a waste. Yes not all those 100 hours were spent grinding and I didn't even know my goal was specifically an anaconda until a while into the game but even when I started my objective was still "I want one of those big ships to explore with"
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
