So, I'm quite bad at videogames, even though I enjoy playing them.

The description of Valheim is that it's a brutal exploration, survival game, and that kinda turned me off of it because I thought it would be too hardcore for my abilities.

Since I like playing some games modded, I saw that there was a modpack for Valheim called Epic Valheim. Some of its characteristics were advertised as being harder than vanilla, but I didn't give it a second thought because it added more stuff to the game.

I setup the settings, created my character and the world, arrived at the world thanks to the bird and it was raining at night time, so I was already worried. I start the tutorial and next thing I know I'm surrounded by enemies. I try to fight them and instantly die. I got frustrated, quit and uninstalled the game.

Is it a skill issue? Should I try other games or play it vanilla? What should I do? I want to like this game, it looks really good and fun, but my "gaming skills" aren't good at all. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your attention. Have a good day.
