So, I've been a longtime fan of unitless ST and played some pre-nerf Milva. She felt a bit too strong, but I didn't actually play her that much when she was OP. Anyway, I finally got the bug to play unitless control again and picked her up. After a couple matches, it's become clear that she is utter garbage now, practically the lowest trash imaginable. Her deathblow is painfully unusable. There is really no versatility. I didn't feel like an elite guerilla team relentlessly stalking my victims. I felt like a clumsy hillbilly trying to shoot chickens with a BB gun. Screw that.
Honestly, I literally argued this exact thing in a post of mine, and people were saying she'd still be playable. What a joke–how would think that a deathblow linked to a 1-damage order could ever be viable? God, it feels so bad to be right.
Also, the power creep in this game is insane right now. The diversity isn't bad so it doesn't feel too horrible, but decks that were quite decent 2 months ago now feel like garbage.(Rip my beloved Zeal Siege deck). Cards like Saskia: Commander, Both the new NG cards, KoB, and probably Arachas Queen are just insanely OP. Personally, I am NOT a fan of this level of powercreep and prefer much more gradual changes in meta. Mushy truffle, Illusionist, Alumni, and Hawker Support are all probably too strong. There's more I can't even think of
My proposal? Rework or nerf the cards that really push the envelope in terms of powercreep. Powercreep doesn't make the game fun; interesting abilities do that. And there are plenty interesting abilities yet to be explored that aren't so insanely OP.
End Rant.
