Ok, stupid (but kinda interesting) question. I have a LinuxGSM server running on Ubuntu 20.04 in a ESXi Server. I want to test crash my LinuxGSM server to see what will happen and to see how the computer will respond. I have Alerts setup through lgsm and alerts I've custom added to the server (Cron systemctl status alerts). Now I need to crash the server. I want it to be kinda real/what normally happens to most people. All I've found are "Crashed on startup" "Isn't working on …." You get the point. I want it to full on poop out. Any ideas? Aside from the obvious like deleting every file. I want a real test here.
Thx in advance.
P.S. I have backups upon backups. And snapshots too. I wont lose anything doing this. I just really want to test the lgsm alerts.
