There's a lot of confusion and misinformation pertaining to this new DLSS update. For the guys saying it works perfectly for them, that's great news. Continue to do what's worked for you.
This is more so geared to the guys that are having any sort of issues. You just have to do a little tweaking, and you'll be able to unlock DLS'S full potential.
Follow these steps:

1. Open up Nvidia Control panel.
2. Do absolutely nothing.
3. Back out to the home screen.
4. If it is Day time, you must set all your RGB lights to yellow, to signify the sun. This gives you a 20 FPS gain on all maps.
5. Once the sun goes down, change your RBG to a dark purple to signify the night sky. This will grant you an additional 10 fps like YU Gi Oh.
6. This last step is KEY. Remember, before exiting out of your game session for the final time, to disable VOIP. Do this at the end of every day.
7. Actually, this is the last step. Silly me, how could I have forgotten? You must wake up every morning at 2:45AM to feed your dogs. If you do not have a dog, then DLSS will not work for you. Once your done feeding your dog, quickly log back into your game and enable VOIP again.
   This will grant you a perfect balance of visual fidelity and performance with DLSS. If you follow these steps and are still having problems, then you just aren't optimizing your game correctly. Your welcome.
