4Game

This is quite simply just me fanboying out. I've just ordered Odyssey for pc and I am very excited for it! I played ED on Xbox for several years until the slow decline to obsoletion begun. I think I stopped around about the time the guardians were introduced and when it was announced no more updates were coming console's way, I gave up with it.

But I've missed it. The ease of the game, the beauty, the community and I've been hankering to play a game that I wasn't sure what, until I got odyssey cheap and realised it's been this!

I've yet to play properly on PC and the merge still hasn't been announced so, for now at least I'm going to be starting from scratch. When I did try pc years ago, I tried to use a controller as I like the button layout but quickly realised the console mapping doesn't translate to pc, has that been rectified? Ie holding the bumpers for a radial wheel?

If not, is there an ideal setup that gets used for pc play? I might look at a hotas in the future but for now if the pad doesn't work it's good old fashioned K&M.

Hopefully I can translate my other account over, I had almost a tril worth of stuff on there (probably a small number by today's standards!) But if not I'll enjoy going back to where it all began!

Anyway, it won't be downloaded tonight I just wanted to share some enthusiasm for my hopefully triumphant return to the void. In the meantime, enjoy one of my favourite snaps from over 5 years ago. o7
