So I am new to the game. Around 34 hours in and I was struggling. Scav raids weren't stressful but PMC raids almost always ended with me unable to extract causing a lot of frustration as many quests needed me to extract with a particular item. After learning after mistake, after mistake, after mistake, I think the game finally clicked for me.
TLDR: I did a customs raid with the best gear I can at lvl 8, took out 3 PMCs and 3 Scavs using knowledge of spawns, general movement, and essentially knowledge of spots where people tend to camp or pass through where I got killed on previous raids(I had a lot of failed raids). Every kill was efficient and clean, hell even took out a lvl 21 PMC with a lot of luck. Got my quest item, a bunch of good loot(2x lions and good gear) and booked it out and extracted.
I never felt such a high before but I have to give it to simply just learning the game from all my earlier deaths. That raid just clicked for me and I just used everything I learned. Yes its a steep climb up to learn the game and I know I still have a lot to learn(like a lot) but I am glad I stuck it through instead of giving up. No game has ever felt this rewarding before from what I can remember.
I just wanted to let fellow newcomers know, just keep pushing through. The game will reward you if you put the time to learn.
