I got poisoned while sailing and died

I am currently in iron age preparing for Bonemass. Before I got poisoned I was sailing to Bonemass location, which is pretty far away from my base, with materials and all my gear, to set up temporary base, farm more iron and prepare for the boss fight.

But mosquito killed me instantly as I got to shore in plains(it was small area next to black forrest and I had no idea it was plains, tought it was just meadows). It was really frustraiting, sailing took really long beacause of no wind, and just some random mosquito which I had never seen before oneshot me right at the shore.

Thankfully i had second ship, so I desided to just go back and try to get my stuff and run away from plains. I had no gear nor food, so I was low on life. Sea serpent attacked me but I mannaged to get away thinking that I am finaly safe. And close before my destination I just got poisoned and died randomly on open sea. I didnt even realised i was poisoned right away just died in few seconds didn't even think to logout. Now I have to farm bronze again make new ship bring food to survive and try to go again and it just doesn't seem like fun after two random deaths far away I couldn't do much about.

I just wanted to share my frustrating story and give advice to always have food while you are sailing.
