I just figured out what’s (or was) all the rage regarding mats farming in Horizons vs Odyssey, and I can’t believe it..

Since today, I was purposely gathering only on known sites like Dav's Hope and Crashed Thargoid, today I wanted to farm some Arsenic. After messing around a bit, I found the planet I'm gona land on and farm, but couldn't figure out why I can't find any signals (geo or bio), to lock on to them and land near..

Then I went reading, and after I found out why, I'm in shock.

Why do this? This is just absurd. To over complicate already tedious tasks is so contra-productive and downright cruel.

Gathering in Horizons:

Get close to a planet,
FFS the planet,
lock on to signal,
land near,
gather.

Gathering in Odyssey:

Get close to a planet,
FFS the planet,
here's where the mats MAYBE are on the WHOLE PLANET
have fun flying around, not knowing what are you looking for, for forever until you give up,
relog to Horizons..

This is just silly.
