I have been playing valheim since it's first week of release, however I never completed a full run through, either got stuck in a death loop, or hated where I set up my base and just wanted to restart. This time I just stuck it out and kept playing regardless.
I set myself the target of completing my first run through before H&H dropped, unfortunately IRL stuff has prevented me from playing as much as I'd like. I think I have about 20 hours of playable time over the next two days to complete the run through.
I'm wondering in people's experience if it is possible to get to a point where I can defeat the last boss in this time. I can imagine the biggest time would be exploring finding the fuling totems, I have already located my closest yagluth alter while sailing.
What gear should I focus on getting, do I need black metal and padded armour or can I make do with lessor amour and weapons and focus on food and meads instead. Currently I have level 3 wolf armour, level 1 silver shield, level 3 drauger fang and Level 2 frostner. Food I'm currently using, serpent stew, lox meat, sausages/turnip stew.
I have bearly any ores or metal as I have only ever mined enough for what I am looking to upgrade not having a stock pile. So I can imagine this will take some time as I'll need iron for blast furnace, windmill and spinning wheel plus upgrading my gear further
I have watched enough YouTube videos on tips for the plains and what to expect so really just wondering on if I can do it in the time frame I have left and the quickest way to do it.
