I just noticed something… Alert systems

First of all, this is my second ever post on reddit, also, beware, heavy tinfoil hat area.

So, with all the Seo situation, while we noticed that at her wreckage there's no green cloud, indicating that thargoids probably didn't do this, I've spent time in the alert systems since FDEV clearly wants us to focus there.

While, let's say, "patrolling" the area with the NPCs (ax ship signatures and combat aftermaths) covering rescue ships that would grab escape pods by killing any thargoids that would show up (mostly scouts) a thought came to me. "Hm, im pretty sure i can fit a cargo rack on my ship and get more money and make a bigger contribution in the war than just killing, it's rarely a big fight in these signals after all", and so I did.

Then, after dropping to a combat aftermath, while flying in to get the escape pods i noticed something. Don't aftermaths caused by thargoids leave a green cloud behind? Of course the tinfoil hat started to appear on that moment, but after getting every escape pod i quickly moved on to the next signal, yet another combat aftermath, it was a threat 4 so i expected, at least, some ax ships around, or maybe a few scouts. Once i got there, the only thing present was a thargoid sensor, with no cloud yet again which got me thinking. I closed in towards the wreckage only to notice the sensor was beside the wreckage, not within it.

Red arrow points to sensor, red line shows where the wreckage starts, no green cloud.

Might be easier to see the sensor on this second picture.

Just to show the sensor bit clearer, it's above the tip of the nose of my ship, look for the color blue, sadly light is a bit dim here.

If humans were carrying sensors, wouldnt they be within the wreckage? And if so, wouldn't the wreckage have been caused by a thargoid, stopping us from taking the sensor wherever, which would lead to the green cloud all around the place?

Thinking back to how FDEV kept talking about "enviromental story telling, subtle story telling" and how we "haven't seen all the signal situations/everything" on previous Frameshift Lives, could the thargoids, mid war, now be trying to figure out what's causing our ships to be broken for whatever reason while they've yet to even attack? From the thargoids point of view, it'd be weird to survey the area of the next potential territory, only to find, suddenly, a bunch of wreckages of your enemies all over the system, when full on attacks haven't even started yet, the sensors could help them figure out what's happening while also, obviously, scanning the system, two birds one stone.

While seeing all this, I thought back to previous aftermaths I had been to (before Seo's mystery), they'd have a green cloud, i couldn't do much in them because high tier interceptors alongside scouts would be there and i was just getting started with ax combat but i had taken a look into a few signals just to see what they were.

Will we end up having a common enemy and a three way war?

Will we have common enemy?
