So much of the maps are empty space that you use pretty much exclusively for flanking when you learn what goes where. The best examples imo is Dorms on Customs and Interchange as a whole.
Dorms has very limited spawns, and it uses maybe a third of its keys for something of worth. Places like the Aquarius room would be perfect for some themed spawns (imagine if there was a rare chance to find Superwater in there), yet they've been pretty much untouched in years.
Interchange has a bunch of spots that should logically have the chance to spawn even actual garbage. Parking garage has nothing but the weapon boxes, imagine if you could find suitcase loot in the trunks of cars. Goshan shelves are utterly derelict outside of the food aisle and the now super rare car battery/sparkplug spawns. Maybe some more hardware or food spawns in that back right area?
Just something to get people moving around instead of checking the usual spots.
