So I’m totally new to this game. Downloaded it last night. And I LOVE the idea of a kind of chill, choose your own adventure, massive world, space game. I really dug No Man’s Sky when I played it, so I figure it’s time to step up in terms of realism.

But HOLY SHIT, this game is either super complex or I’m a super idiot. Like, I’m not even sure how to navigate all the various menus and what everything means. I did some tutorials, but I feel like they gloss over a lot. I’m struggling with understanding my ship and how it works; what are all these modules, how does power distribution work, understanding the UI, etc.?

I’m also struggling a bit with navigation. I did a courier mission earlier and as I was (or at least I thought) approaching the station my ship suddenly zooooomed right past it and I couldn’t stop. I had to turn around and I BARELY made it to the station before running out of fuel.

Can someone point me in the direction of some very, very basic beginners guides? All the stuff I’ve been able to find is immediately confusing to me. I’m looking for an ELI5 guide.
