I really enjoy breeding in this game and have some ideas

Hey guys, I spent a lot of time playing with breedable animals and I have a lot of fun. The source of resources and protection they offer is so good and fun to play with. The possibilities the breeding offers, adds a lot of play time and content for me. The whole process of hunting and taming the rare, stared ones is also great – I really enjoy that two star animals are rare, I think there is about 1% chance for them to spawn, so it is not something you see on a regular basis, which makes it even better.

Since the game is in a pre-1.0, a lot of things can still be added or changed, so I am really curious what will come in the future. I have some ideas that could improve the experinece even further.

Allow boars to eat dendalions and honey. Dendalions makes sense to me, I assume wild boars do eat them and they are both located mostly in meadows. I have a lot of dendalions and would love to spend them as breeding food since I don't use healing meads much. The honey feels less natural, but would be really cool, as producing honey is faster and smoother experience compared to producing carrots or other grown veggies.

Currently the only cooked or player prepared food which can be used for feeding is Sausages on wolfs. I think wolfs would eat most of cooked meat based foods in reality, but since this is already in the game, it makes me think that they will introduce more of it in the future. Maybe there will be special player made foods specific to using on animals, which could have special features such as faster taming or growing-up time and longer lasting food for already tamed animals.

The other thing which I am curious about is if they will add new tamable creatures or perhaps enable taming on already existing ones. I would personally prefer more than less as breeding is compleatly optional and non game breaking in any way, so I dont see down sides of it. I already have way to much neck and deer loot since my wolfs and lox constantly kill them as they spawn around my base, but I would still really enjoy making breeders and fun use cases for them too.

Fish will probably get a whole set of features in the future, such as traps which function similar to bees maybe? But I would also really enjoy having my own fish production, basically we could trap fish in a pond, and then feed and multiply them. Then the player still needs to somehow pull them above the see level in order to pick them up, which allows the ability for fishing them with a fishing pole, or build something which will help with that – this mechanic would add so much fun things to do.

Finally, one thing which I was also thinking about, but is likely not going to be added as it might go way out of the direction, but – imagine a NPC or some source basically, which gives out location of some "mutated or special animal in the wild", which would basically be a special type of already existing animal, something like albino boar, or black wolf, etc. If killed, it only drops the regular stuff, but if tamed, we now have special skin animals.

Anyone else really into breeding? What are your ideas about breeding and taming? Also share cool stuff that you built related to breeding or breeders related farms. I am currently also looking into ways how to efficiently catch fish, do share if you have some nice farm technique.
