I’m enjoying the hunt for Fenris Armor, but the grind is getting ridiculous. I am confused. Is this cool or not?

While my loyal companions decided to immerse themselves in the real world before starting our virtual expansion into Plains, I decided to take care of a matter I've been putting off for a while – getting us a couple of fully upgraded Fenris armor sets. They look cool and promise a new style of play. Also, it would be great to give one set to our scout, who likes to get into dangerous places and then the whole team has to drag his corpse out of some ass. But Fuck, did I underestimated the adventure ahead of me.

Since all the nearby mountains were open before the update, I outfitted my ship and set off on a long voyage into uncharted lands. After TWENTY-FIVE hours, I'm finishing exploring the SEVENTH huge mountain, not including mini-mountains without frost caves, and I still haven't collected enough ressources for a full set and flash rippers. On the bright side I can build an all-glass Taj Mahal and completely cover it with red carpets.

While some caves bring a few dozen hairs, I've come across caves with only two hairs and large mountains with only one cave several times. And please, I know all about hanging hair on the walls and under the ceiling! Plus the main problem remains: I still haven't found a single cultist trophy.

I'll note that I'm having a lot of fun with the process. I love that I was made to go on such a long journey. I like that this journey occasionally gets really dangerous. And I like that the process of getting this particular armor is different from everything else. But at the same time there is a sense that the grind is still a bit excessive, even if we consider me unlucky, and the vast majority of players won't even bother.

I can't figure out if this is cool or not? What's your opinion?

P.S. I can definitely say that a second set is out of the question. As for our scout, that sucker won't get a single hair from me!

Update: While reading your comments, I realized that I need to get luck on my side by being more adventurous and brave. The final stages of the hunt I will play with no-map and no portals. I can see three big mountains around me right now. I need to become a real hunter, so I can please Odin and bring his rewards back home.
