The ocean is hardly a real danger, and after Moder its kind of just moot.

I understand there is a ship and ocean overhaul update in the road map at some point but right now it’s just a big waste of time and not even relevant to make you sail back with it.

I’m not arguing for the ability to portal ore, I just would hope they can push out the ocean update to make it worthwhile.

It’s just a time sink for the sake of being a time sink.

I think I would advocate for ingots to be portable. At least then you would have to go through the effort of setting up an outpost wherever you mine to get it back quicker.

I’m sure I’ll get a lot of downvotes because anything negative about this game is unacceptable but I would love a real discussion about it in its current state and where you would like to see it in the grand scheme of the completed game.

Also, if I wasn’t clear, I’m fully aware the game is in early access, and already phenomenal in almost every aspect, I love this game to death and that’s why I want to have a discussion. Any thoughts?
