Gwent has always been about the art of bleeding. That delicate balance between over committing your resources vs losing card advantage. This was a skill that was quintessential to become a good Gwent player. But lately cards have become more encouraging over committing bleed. The worst example was golden nekker meta where every deck threw the kitchen sink at you in the first two rounds and later reaped rewards using cards like aerondight.
But the issue has persisted , game has become more favorable to overcomniting bleeds due to cards that play for a ridiculous amount of points if you don't have the tools to counter it. Scenarios if you don't have a heatwave or a scenario to match theirs can result in an instant 2-0. The issue has been exacerbated by the ever increasing point gap between gold's and bronzes. The recent patch has reduced the gap a bit for ng at least. But I have feeling that the gap will be back to where it was when the brozes get nerfed to their "rightful" place as filler cards.
What do you guys feel, have you felt that there has been an increasing tendency to do throw the kitchen sink at you bleed ? How has this issue evolved over years?
If you want so see matches where soft bleed was perfected , go and watch matches between tailbot and demarcation. It was the stuff of legends.
