I'm sure this question is annoying but, to explain where I'm coming from as an outside viewer:
I'm very much on the fence when it comes to buying this game because it seems like it could be fun, but at a $45 price tag (with no refund option) when you see almost nothing but complaints and people with 500-1000+ hours quitting its hard to wanna hop in and buy it. Based off of posts and such that get a huge amount of up-votes, it kinda sounds like this game hasn't seen a positive change in…1.5-2 years? Maybe more?
Most the defense in favor of the game I see is people just saying, "its not that** bad" or people saying, "well its a beta" (but again it's $45 for a game that's been in beta for 5 years with no option of a refund) and none of that really inspires confidence.
I know it can be hard to look objectively at a game you've put 100s if not 1000s of hours into, but can you guys honestly recommend new players to get into the game as it currently is?
